Voici les situations \u00e0 risque et comment les \u00e9viter.<\/mark><\/h3>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Vous tournez \u00e0 gauche, un tram arrive en face. Vous pensez avoir le temps. Lui, non.<br>Avec son retour \u00e0 Lausanne, d\u2019abord en phase de tests, puis pour de bon entre Lausanne et Renens \u00e0 la fin de l&rsquo;ann\u00e9e, si tout va bien, ce type de situation va redevenir courant \u2014 et parfois dangereux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Car dans la majorit\u00e9 des accidents observ\u00e9s ailleurs en Suisse, ce n\u2019est pas le tram qui est en cause, mais des actions inappropri\u00e9es des autres usagers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A Gen\u00e8ve, par exemple, malgr\u00e9 des ann\u00e9es de pratique, une vingtaine d\u2019accidents impliquant un tramway ont \u00e9t\u00e9 recens\u00e9s en 2025. Dans ces<br>situations, le tram n\u2019a jamais \u00e9t\u00e9 fautif, explique la police cantonale de Gen\u00e8ve, dans notre journal de <a href=\"https:\/\/tcs-vd.ch\/blog\/e-paper\/\" type=\"link\" id=\"https:\/\/tcs-vd.ch\/blog\/e-paper\/\">mai 2026<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Voici les situations o\u00f9 tout se joue, et les automatismes qui font la diff\u00e9rence. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-color\">Tourner \u00e0 gauche: le sc\u00e9nario classique<\/mark><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>C\u2019est l\u2019un des cas les plus fr\u00e9quents.<br>Un automobiliste ou un motard s\u2019engage pour tourner, coupe la trajectoire\u2026 sans mesurer la vitesse r\u00e9elle du tram. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Probl\u00e8me: un tram ne peut ni d\u00e9vier ni freiner rapidement; <strong>le tram lausannois p\u00e8sera 87 tonnes plein, soit l&rsquo;\u00e9quivalent de 15 \u00e9l\u00e9phants!<\/strong><br>Attendre le passage du tram reste la r\u00e8gle la plus s\u00fbre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-color\">\u00c0 v\u00e9lo: le pi\u00e8ge du rail<\/mark><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>C\u2019est sans doute la situation la plus sournoise.<br>Un v\u00e9lo qui longe les rails, un angle trop faible\u2026 et la roue se bloque. La chute est imm\u00e9diate!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le risque de chute \u00e0 v\u00e9lo sur des rails est bien r\u00e9el: selon une \u00e9tude de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 du Tennessee, il est \u00e9lev\u00e9 en dessous de 30\u00b0, <strong>alors qu\u2019un angle proche de 60\u00b0 le r\u00e9duit fortement<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>D\u00e9monstration en vid\u00e9o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Single Bicycle Crashes at Skewed Rail Crossing\" width=\"580\" height=\"326\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/YfeQvbIFBks?start=237&#038;feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour limiter ce risque, les carrefours lausannois ont \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9fl\u00e9chis et con\u00e7us pour permettre aux cyclistes de franchir les rails avec un angle suffisant pour \u00e9viter que la roue ne se coince. \u00c0 condition de les franchir correctement!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-color\">Pi\u00e9tons: attention \u00e0 la routine<\/mark><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Un tram est silencieux. R\u00e9gulier. Pr\u00e9visible\u2026 en apparence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A proximit\u00e9 du tram, restez attentifs et relevez vos yeux de tout objet de distraction. <strong>Il est en outre fortement conseill\u00e9 de retirer ses \u00e9couteurs. La musique dans le casque peut atteindre 90 d\u00e9cibels, alors que le tram est \u00e0 75 d\u00e9cibels.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-secondary-color\"><strong>\u00c0<\/strong> pied, \u00e0 v\u00e9lo, \u00e0 trottinette, \u00e0 moto et en voiture, vous devez toujours laisser passer le tram.<\/mark><\/h4>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-color\">\u00ab\u00c7a va, je passe avant\u00bb: l\u2019erreur de trop<\/mark><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>C\u2019est un r\u00e9flexe courant, notamment en ville: vouloir passer avant un v\u00e9hicule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Avec un tram, ce calcul est souvent faux. <strong>Sa vitesse est difficile \u00e0 \u00e9valuer et sa priorit\u00e9 syst\u00e9matique.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Patientez, ne prenez pas de risque inutile. Il faut \u00e9galement faire attention de ne pas se trouver sur sa voie avec votre corps ou un objet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>De plus, un tram peut en cacher un autre, car le tram circule en double voie.<\/strong> <strong>Ne pas s&rsquo;engager sans regarder des deux c\u00f4t\u00e9s avant de traverser!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-color\">Une campagne d\u00e9j\u00e0 visible<\/mark><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A Lausanne, <\/strong>l<strong>es premiers messages de pr\u00e9vention sont d\u00e9j\u00e0 dans l\u2019espace public<\/strong>. Dans la rue ou en ligne, les tl rappellent les r\u00e8gles essentielles avec des visuels simples et directs. Par exemple:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00abLe tram est toujours prioritaire\u00bb<br>\u00abUn tram peut en cacher un autre\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Objectif: ancrer les bons automatismes avant m\u00eame la mise en service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le <strong>Lausanne Hockey Club<\/strong> s\u2019invite aussi dans la pr\u00e9vention. Malgr\u00e9 des financements valid\u00e9s en 2025, plusieurs oppositions d\u2019entreprises concern\u00e9es par le trac\u00e9 restent en suspens et pourraient encore d\u00e9boucher sur des recours.
